The Festival of Trees event raises money for the Butte and Anaconda United Way. It will involve more than 40 elaborately decorated trees in the Butte-Silver Bow Courthouse.

“If you look at these trees, when they’re lit and see them in the Butte Courthouse with the fresco ceilings, this is going to be a spectacular event,” said United Way Executive Director Juliann Crnich.

Family Outreach Family Education and Support

Early Child Intervention Services serves children with development delays and disabilities through a home visiting model for family education and support.  They teach families and friends how to teach skills to children and adults with special needs.  They work hard to ensure that children and adults in their program have the same opportunities that all Montanans have in education, in the community, in friendships and in life.

Girl Scouts of Wyoming & Montana

Investing in Every Girl's Potential

equips girls with valuable skills through programming focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), Outdoors and Life Skills.  By offering STEM programming to the girls at the Butte Family YMCA, they intend to bridge the gender gap in STEM.  Their efforts are aligned with the mission of the Girl Scouts to develop girls of of courage, confidence and character.

Copper Village Museum Art Center - Open Theatre Project

Open Theatre Project is planning three productions for 2025-26.  A benefit for children is direct participation in the arts.  Local youth lack many opportunities of this sort.  This exposure may lead to further participation in the arts or perhaps a life-long appreciation of the performing arts.  The future may find them engaging in artistic endeavors thus benefiting themselves and their communities.

CCCS, Inc. - Discovery House

Discovery House is a shelter care and/or group home for youth, ages ten to eighteen, who need a safe place, care and/or supervision. Placements come from the Montana Department of Family Services and Juvenile Probation. They also often serve as a temporary home for youth who are waiting to go to a foster care home, drug/alcohol treatment, or to another safe place.  They focus on giving youth information to help them make positive choices, change attitudes and behaviors and assist them in becoming aware of their strengths giving them opportunity to experience success.
